M O S D E F peace. i was born in brooklyn new york in 1973. ive been working professionally as an artist for nearly 20 years. ive been very blessed to work with some of the worlds brightest talents and many of my personal heroes.thus far ive been nominated for 2 grammys, a golden globe, an emmy, and a source award among others. i was awarded a peabody award for my work on the hbo series "def poetry" and won an obie award for the suzan lori parks play "fucking A".
i was on broadway in another suzan lori play "topdog underdog" w/ my man jeffrey wright and directed by my other man george C. "big daddy" wolfe in 2002. the play won the pulitzer prize that year. we performed it in london the following year. im proud to have been apart of it. ive done work in film and television as well w/ folks like bill cosby and the late great nell carter to name a few.
like i said ive been blessed and im grateful. mashaallah. i just wanna say i appreciate all the love and good vibrations that folks have been sendin my way thru the years on this particular journey and im wishin you all peace love and power in your own journey as well. the elders say "love em all,trust a few,and fear none"....thats wassup. one love. peace.

I was able to get an extension for my eviction for one week by going to court and asking for relief. My new eviction date is next Monday 8/9/2010.
I wrote and posted on my door to my apartment:
UR tax money paid for the MURDER of over 1,000,000 Muslims in 8 years of war.
This caused my neighbors to insult and lash out at me again. They called building management and they had it removed. They also removed another cross I placed in my front yard and the following I also wrote on paper and posted on my door.

I was served with an eviction notice. I am being evicted on 8/2/2010 from my apartment in Red Bank NJ: I have 3 days to vacate the premises. Do to my refusal to remove what I have posted on my doors and windows as a protest for the wars we have waged on innocent human beings.

I had this idea. I thought about selling crucifixions (read below). You can stand on one of my crosses that I placed in front of my apartment and feel what it felt like to be crucified. As Jesus was or if your not catholic, what it feels to be one of the 8,000 murdered soldiers (on our side) or over 1 million Muslims (on their side) BUSH murdered.
The only charge would be the change you have in your pocket. At the end of the day I would collect the change and SEND IT TO OBAMA as payment (bribe?) to END THE WARS NOW and to BRING HOME THE SOLDIERS (ALIVE) NOW.

Some radio stations play songs of worship, praise & glory to our FATHER. On television there are many devotional shows. GOD is to be served & honoured daily. In all things, everyday 24/7, we should show HIM & give HIM the respect HE deserves (1 Corinthians 10:31 So then, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you may do, do all for the honor & glory of GOD.) You are a gate, you either lead others to GOD, or lead them to the the devil. Regardless of what you say, what you listen to, who you follow or how you lead, we will have to give account for our every action. Wouldn't it be better if we had GOD as our ally? FATHER GOD, make YOUR Presence be known to us in a way that we will turn from sinning against YOU. Help us to not follow after people, places or things that will lead us to greed, selfishness, homosexuality, fornication, violence or drugs. As we study YOUR Word give us the knowledge to live a sacrificial lifestyle, giving YOU 1st place over our time, talents & finances. YOU are our Healer, Provider, & Source. YOU give us every breath we take. What others say or think about us is not more important than obedience to YOU.
