About Mostly Dead

Mostly Dead is a genre-bending, multi-instrumental group of musicians dedicated to checking egos and rocking socks off. The band is comprised of members of previous projects that have played in the Austin area for the last several years. Mostly Dead is the brain child of Andrew Nolte and was originally founded in Corpus Christi in 2004 but has finally come into its own in this most recent incarnation. Formed with two weeks notice and the intent to play only one gig, they quickly realized that the world could not be denied such a decadent carcinogenic treat of aural pleasure. Mostly Dead then vowed to dedicate their lives and first born to the synergistic symbiosis of smooth, soulful sonic supremacy.
