Movetron on perustettu alkujaan vuonna 1994. Ensimmäinen albumi "Romeo ja Julia" julkaistiin vuonna 1995 ja ylsi myynnillä tuplaplatinaan. Seuraavana vuonna julkaistu "soittorasia" albumi saavutti ensimmäisen päivän myynnillä kultalevyn rajan ja ylitti platinalevyyn oikeuttavan myyntimäärän. "Kolmas aste" julkaistiin vuonna 97, mutta ei ihan yltänyt silloiseen kultalevyn rajapyykkiin. Kolmannen levyn tiimoilta tehdyn keikkarundin jälkeen oli aika pitää ensimmäinen pieni loma yhtyeen historiassa ja selvitellä ajatuksia muita hommia tehden.
Vuoden hiljaiselon jälkeen päätettiin rivejä vahvistaa MC:llä, johon rooliin valittiin James Black (ex 3rd nation) ja ilmoille saatettiin "voodoo mies / voodoo man" sinkku, joka poikkeuksellisesti tehtiin sekä suomeksi että englanniksi. Sinkun jatkoksi tehtiin täysin englanninkielinen levy ja muille levyn biiseille Jamesin tilalle astui Chris Sanders - Kiertämistä ja keikkoja levyn tiimoilta, mutta jotenkin kaikkien mielessä alkoi homma tuntua tyhjältä ja oli aika pakata movetron historian kirjoihin - tosin silloin todettiin jo, että katsotaan sitten joskus, jos siltä alkaa taas tuntumaan.
Viimeinen 2000 julkaistu albumi päättyi raitaan "never say never" ja keväällä 2007 vuosien hiljaielon jälkeen tutut nimet alkoivat näkyä taas saapuvien puheluiden näytöllä ja tovin pohdiskelujen jälkeen oli aika palata kokeeksi studioon kokeilemaan yhteiseloa alkuperäisellä kokoonpanolla ja tämän seurauksena radoissa ja diskoissa parhaillaan soi "Ei kenenkään maa".
Yllätyimme iloisen positiivisesti kutsusta saada osallistua tulevan vuoden euroviisuihin ja sinnehän lataamme kybällä....Helmikuussahan sen sitten kuulee ja näkee, millä eväillä trio matkaan lähtee. Albumin ilmestynee maaliskuussa ja siitä se taas alkaa suomen tieverkkoon tutustuminen...Toisaalta olisimme kovasti otettuja myös euroopan rundista viisujen merkeissä!!!!!

Movetron's first album "Romeo ja Julia" were released in 1995 and it sold douple platinum in Finland. Next year we released album "soittorasia" and it reached gold record in a one day and finaly reached platinum record selling. Album "Kolmas aste" released in 1997, but didn't reached to gold record. After touring around this album, it was first time have a little break from studio work and touring. A couple of the first years went 150 gigs / years, so it was relaxing to have a break.
After one year break it was time to start to plan a new album. At that time we decided to add a rapper / MC into our group. James Black (former 3rd nation member) joined us to do the next single "voodoo mies / voodoo man", which was released both in finnish and in english. After that we decided to do the rest of the album in english. James moved to London so we chose a new rapper Chris Sanders to finish the "4th dimension" album with us. We started touring once again around this album, but after a while there was a feeling to say goodbye to Movetronl
"4th dimesion's" last song was "never say never" and at spring 2007 after 7 years silence we had a couple of phone calls to each others and after a couple of meetings we decided to do reunion with 3 orginal Movetron members. We went back to finnish and the first single "Ei kenenkään maa" is now playing on main radios and discos. Video is coming out at these days.
We were suprised and very pleased to get an invitation to Finland's Eurovision song contest 2008...We will take this competition seriously doing our own music and let's see, how things will go. Anyway there will be a new album out in spring 2008 and a new tour at same time here in Finland, but also tour in Europe will be in our intrests.....
