  • Bio

Buenos Aires / Hamburg (sometimes Hamburg / Buenos Aires) . But the placement its not significant. Singing, playing guitar and the use of a computer are my elements. In my very own way. A lot of wonderful people inspired me, people near to me, people that I didn't know, knew or will know, from them I feel a connection through music and way of thinking.

Now it's time for silence, exactly 00:03 AM, some static and high frequency noises, and some cars on the wet asphalt. Soon the train will come. 3, 2, 1, ten seconds of music, some tons passing 15m from us. A small earthquake. This is in many ways music and influences for me too. An instable soil that takes my roots very slowly. Maybe now's the time to give some kind of clue about the topic "influences". Here we go: the first zamba (argentinian traditional but not autochthonous music) that I played at age 5 with guitar, a scratched 78 RPM with "strange music" like Mozart (at 6), together with Their Satanic Majesties Request, a vinyl that my brother left at home together with some Beatles and Little Richard. Or the music of L. A. Spinetta, or David Bowie, Robert Fripp, The Mahavishnu, Frank Zappa, mixed with a lot of disco dance music, and dance and dance again. Nina Hagen, when she was in Velez Sarsfield, and a lot of people that threw and covered her with mud. Sometimes the horizon was larger. I see stars in my sky with melodies and lyrics of Pere Ubu, Sonic Youth, and why not, the same with Melania Perez and Las Orejas y la Lengua. And opera, and Brecht / Weil / Eisler and the Krautrock (thanks Norberto). Annnnnnnnnnnnddddddddd ....... Maybe the best way to make a final point is to describe my actual list of music on my desktop, the real and the virtual one: Akio Suzuki, Louis Andriessen, Luc Ferrari, Terry Rilley, Marisa Monte, John Cage (Solos for voice 1 & 2), Spalt, Hanna Hartmann. I don't have an I Pod. Maybe it's a necessary description too. (I wrote these sentences some years ago. It's incredible to read that I wrote "it's exactly 00:03 ... ". In 2008 my son came to the world at that hour, exactly.

    Kürzlich in Hamburg...
