The USA is the place I've visited the most times having been to most of the major cities on the East Coast. Never made it to the west... One day though!

Gonna be in Brazil for a month over the Christmas period... Sao Paulo and Salvador... Can't bloody wait!!!

Here are 6 fun facts about me (taken from my blog):
1) I used to bite my toenails in bed before I slept. I probably still would but I'm not that flexible anymore, instead I bite my finger nails.
2) I have to smell food or drink before it passes through my lips. Some people can take offense to this but oh well! I do try and be discreet.
3) As I child my idea of fun was libraries and knitting.
4) I prefer atheletic men to muscly men. Guys with big muscles are a turn off and make me think of prison yards.
5) After I floss each tooth I smell the floss.
6) I looove food ...

I try to cover up, yet my nakedness still shows, You see me, in my truest form, I am vulnerable and exposed. Sometimes the phantom of my past appears, though I try to forget Even when I hide it in the darkness, I still see its silhouette. So why do I regret…? These events are the fabric of who I’ve come to be Every instance like a fiber woven in my life’s tapestry. I can only look back for wisdom, I must let this be my strength But even I have yet to discover the true extent of its length. I have only gone so deep, on the surface it hurts so much When I feel my ugliness visible, I just want to cover up. We must speak out on major world issues, courageously, openly and honestly, and in blunt terms of morality. If We yeild to blandishment or theats, if We compromise when no hounourable compromise is possible, Our influence will be sadly diminished and Our prestige woefully prejudiced and weakened. Let Us not deny Our ideals or sacrifice Our right to stand as the champions of the poor, the ignorant, the oppressed everywhere.
When no one upholds the cause of morality and justice for thier own sake, when the small, still voice of conscience speaks no longer, immorality and lack of principle have triumphed, and in this his story all of mankind is the loser.
If We raise Our voices against injustice, wherever it is found, if We demand a stop to aggression wherever it occurs and under whatever guise and brand the aggressor as such, and if We do so on a wholly impartial basis, We can serve as the collective consience of the world.
I've been busy in my head and while in there came across the following idea for an artwork.
The artwork is a 'terracotta'-army with a sign asking everyone to paint, draw, write, etc. on it. The 'terracotta'-army would be formed by 36 c.44" plaster statues presenting a nude young girl. The figure is stylistically pop-art (so it's simplified lacking details such as genitalia and nipples, etc.). These statues are laid onto a shallow dig of rectangular shape measuring c.6mx11m.
The idea is that the mold used to manufacture the plaster statues would be available free to order from the internet. We, anyone who is interested to contribute to the project by the means that they can and will, then try to spread this 'terracotta'-army across the globe creating an artwork of a global scale.
In the artwork every 'terracotta'-army has a similar shape as does each statue, yet all would be diffent and unique due to painting.
The manufacturing process with a ready mold is simple and requires little expert knownledge. Also the plaster is a cheap material. So, making the individual artworks is neither difficult nor expensive. Yet, the artwork is sizeable piece of contemporary art that is 'alive' in the sense that it's never finished as anyone is free to add a new layer of paint on it.
