When I first hit the stage I wouldn't sing a song unless it was Tori Amos and or Sarah McLachlan. But when I came on the music scene I had a vision, like all do of what perfection was. You gotta take the best of the best and put it together. The first artist that comes to mind is of course Janet Jackson. When it comes to stage presence, choreography and a hot body, who else is there but Miss Jackson? To fully entertain an audience is my goal. Put on "A Show". Collaborate an incredible voice with extreme choreography and absolute breath taking presence. I'm talking fire works. Literally! A show with a story line and a big imagination. In a short amount of time you'll know what I'm talking about. As far as vocals go the originators, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston and the new generations queen of vocals X-Tina Aguilera. Then there's writing skills. Sarah McLachlan, Tori Amos and Alicia Keys do it for me. But if your asking me what artist it is that I feel all around, which is a hard goal to achieve. Evanescence with their debut album "Fallen" all the way. The entire first album. X-tina with "Stripped" and Alicia with "Songs in A minor"are right beside her.
When it comes to Dance Music in which I am currently known for, I sound a lot like Tina Ann. My debut album "Situations" is a mainstream sound. DancePop. High energy music, some say anthom like. Aggressive beats with heavy vocal and hooky chorus'. Ummmm what is it those crazy club kids call it? Oh yeah, HOUSE. Now a days I'm throwing it all on the table and taking that big leap into crossing over. I'm going mainstream baby. You'll find my sound to be more Rock/R&B. Still very driven tracks that are mostly upbeat but with actual instruments in it, like guitar. One of my favorite tracks "frustrated" starts off with a verse' that has an R&B flow and goes into a chorus that is more Rock driven. It's been said to be Mariah meets Kelly Clarkson. I think its like a Simple Plan meets Evanescence. But you'll have to be the judge. Whatever it is, It kicks butt!

I’ve been a music journalist for more than 10 years. Over the years, many artists and managers have asked me what the best way to break into the European music market is.
Here are some things you can do:
Publish artist press releases, news, and tour dates to the CountryHome Forum on MySpace, http://groups.myspace.com/CountryHomeMagazine , CountryHome Forum is part of CountryHome, http://www.CountryHome.de , Germany's Premier Country Music Online Magazine. Everything you publish to the CountryHome Forum will be published in my weekly Newsletter which has over 80,000 readers.
Publish artist interviews in English to http://groups.myspace.com/CountryHomeMagazineInterviewsEnglish , interviews in French to http://groups.myspace.com/InterviewsAvecCountryMusicStars and interviews in German to http://groups.myspace.com/CountryMusikInterviews . All these groups on MySpace are part of CountryHome, http://www.CountryHome.de , Germany's Premier Country Music Online Magazine.
Send me CDs and DVDs for review and set up an artist interview with me. All reviews and interviews will be submitted to the magazines I'm writing for. More information for which magazines I'm writing can be found at http://www.MySpace.com/ChristianLamitschka
Upload artist videos to http://www.MyVideo.de and http://www.ClipFish.de . Both websites are like http://www.YouTube.com and uploading videos is free. The websites are completely in German. If you don’t speak German and need assistance, I will help you open an account and upload a video for 25 Euro. Each additional video upload for the same artist name and at the same video website is 10 Euro.
If you have more questions about the European music market or about any of the information I send to you today, please contact me at Ch.Lamitschka@t-online.de too.
