Mt. Tallac Brewing Company is small, friendly, and locally-minded. Lake Tahoe = great water so we put it to the best possible use.
MTB distributes its craft brews throughout the Lake Tahoe area. A tasting room at the shop is open daily 5 -7 p.m. Come by, take the tour, have a pint, pick up a growler or a keg and talk serious beer with Jeff, the head brewer. If you'd like to tour the shop some other time, call (530) 541 - 7405. Jeff is usually busy so please leave a message on the answering machine.

A little hard to find but worth the effort -
MTB is located by the 'Y' at 2060 Eloise, South Lake Tahoe (on the corner of Eloise and Dunlap). Turn onto Dunlap (look for Blockbuster), drive one block to Eloise, turn right and look for the cinder block building with murals on the loading dock. For all you slow rollers - we're right on the bike trail.

MTB brews Amber Ale and Pale Ale year 'round. Other flavors are brewed seasonally.

Konehead - a fresh hop ale - almost gone. Call Jeff and he can tell you who has it on tap
Desolation Wilderness Wheat - a crystal wheat
Zelda's Porter and Backcountry Blonde coming soon ! When you visit the Lake Tahoe area, ask for a Mt. Tallac. If they don't have it on tap, ask them why the hell not!
