FiLTHMiLK is the white sludge that forms when toxic chemicals are dumped everyday everywhere into rivers and streams by industrial manufactures. The mission river is covered so ya dont see how polluted it is. The east river forgetaboutit. At the same time Bechtel and CocainCola are snatching up all the water rights all over the globe. Soon FiLTHMiLK is all you'll have to drink. FiLTHMiLK is exquisitely orchestrated hindustani punk noise industrial designed to sell sneakers and hooded sweatshirts to overprivilaged urban children. Last sonic resistors of the great blandness conspiracy. FiLTHMiLK is one of the only bands ive heard lately that actually sounds unlike any band ive heard lately. In a sea of sameness they have a sound all their own well actually many sounds all their own. It seems like they spend all their time thinking up new ways to challenge theier listeners. While most of their peers pretty much sound like one another, these cats take the high road and do something different. Classification is impossible you could just through them in a catch all of "electronic", but there's the cellos and sitars and what all but that doesnt make them classical or world or something it just adds to their wierdness. I feel sorry for the guy at the record store who has to figure out where the hell to stick their cds. Alphabetically is the only way. -
