Bio
Their meeting was an inevitability of sorts, and certainly the hinges that they individually buckled for one another, in terms of creativity, would most surely have eventually twisted on their own accord to admit them through the yawning arch shoulder to shoulder.
Murmur Breeze’s first album, entitled ‘Bird Irony’, was released on decorative stamp in 2008 and encompasses, quite smashingly, the span of both James P Honey’s sour words and AbSUrd’s dreamy drone-like beats.
Their musical understanding of one another is strong and deliciously unpredictable in its outcome. Ominous synths, clattering mechanical cries and soothing strings weave in and out of the sometimes poetic ramblings and often wailing words. Expect a dream like soundscape to work its way across your wavering senses in a wash of pallid pastel and splattered neon strokes.
Murmur Breeze’s, as yet untitled, second album is nearing what one calls completion, and also a 7” vinyl ep is scheduled to be pressed early in 2010 on Cooler Than Cucumbers Records.
Both hunchbacked and beautiful, Murmur Breeze whips through the wild meadow outside your friend’s office block, strumming something silently upon the dew encrusted brow of the hill.
