Murphy´s Empty Shot
"The Tower of Babel Falls"
Mark Murphy's (of Wookiefoot) newest side project, Murphy's Empty Shot is a project years in the making. Years ago, while living in Bend, Oregon, Mark and his brother played in an Irish Drinking Band. Since moving to Minneapolis, he has been aching to do it again. The last few years he has been Out of the Jar over St. Patties day, usually in places that don't even celebrate this greenest of Holidays. This year, it is going to be a whole lot different. Murphy is returning home from Costa Rica to share a weekend will us bliss junkies that we'll never forget.
Empty Shot will be playing a three night tour, starting in Sioux Falls, then playing in Minneapolis and ending in Moorhead on St. Patrick's Day. A album will also be released at these shows, so no matter what show you catch, you can listen all weekend long! So get working on your out fits, cause this is not going to be your ordinary weekend. Lets see your green!
HIPPIE WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? Saturday June 28 2:00 pm Your Stage
THIS IS GONNA BE SUPER FUN!!!!
If you've ever sat at home watching "Whose Line Is It Anyway? and thought to yourself, "I could do that" - here's your chance!
We are seeking four or more talented improv actors to perform as the cast of “Hippie Whose Line Is It Anyway?” for Project Earth. No real experience needed - just guts and quick wits! We’ll be playing/performing several of the more popular games from the TV show including “Scenes from A Hat” “Questions Only” and “Party Quirks”. We’re also hoping to do a “Hoedown” and an “Irish Drinking Song” if we can find a couple of musicians to provide some accompaniment for us.
Also we’ll need lots of people to participate as audience members by suggesting scenes, settings, situations and such! This is one crowd you will definitely want to be a part of!
SOOO…. If you or anyone you know would be interested in taking part in this please get back to me on myspace at myspace. com/iowahippiebill or email me at 1apostle@rock.com
