About me: so i've been couped up underground for, like, five or six months thinking about NOTHING except what my myspace page is going to look like when i get out...
So...I was still trying to figure out what was going on as I was crossing the Museum's construction zone yesterday when a construction worker must have seen me out of the corner of his eye -- and he rescued me. They tell me I've been missing since September, when we moved out of the old Museum building.
I had been living in a pond within the Museum's outdoor courtyard with my other buds at the Museum (see a pic of my OLD home in My Pics), but when everyone else moved out of the building, I must have been incognito and they were unable to find me. So...I decided to take a long nap...a REALLY long five month nap, hibernating under the mud.
You can imagine my surprise when I woke up in the heart of our intense construction zone, where massive construction vehicles have been criss-crossing the site and installing piers for months! They tell me that the entire construction site had been excavated and then backfilled to prepare the soil for the new Museum's foundation and that I was actually moved by backhoes to a huge pile of dirt and then moved back to where they found me.
Now I'm livin' it up, MySpace style! Come back and check out my blogs...
Who I'd like to meet: Ricardo and Victor Legorreta and the guys who are building my new home!
Bob, not sure if I buy the story that you were hiding in the mud of the courtyard all that time. Are you sure you didn't sneak across the freeway and visit with some of your relatives at the zoo? Well, whatever, so glad someone found you before they poured cement on top of you.
