The idea of creating the podcast first start in January 2007, but the work about it start in May 2007. At first the podcast was only 20 minutes and they slowly grow to 40 minutes. The first show of Music Is Power Podcast was released on 09 June 2007.

The creator of Podcast is Dimitar Klaturov (also known as Dimitar K). Music Is Power Podcast is a podcast for independent and experimental music. The idea of the podcast is to find beautiful music. Since the begging of the podcast it is released every Friday without missing. The main idea about the podcast is to not play artists double, so far there are more then 600 artists played in 46 podcasts.
