I Muttleys sono un gruppo hardcore punk italiano formatosi nel 2003 per idea di Marco, Daniele e Ciba.
Il nome del gruppo deriva dal personaggio di Hanna e Barbera "Muttley" spalla dello spregevole "Dick Dastardly" in Waky races e famoso per la sua caratteristica risata e per i suoi grugniti di protesta.
Ben presto si unisce al gruppo il batterista venezuelano Esban e in seguito il bassista udinese Enrico (nel frattempo per motivi personali Ciba si era allontanato dal gruppo).
La band e quindi completo e si inserisce ben presto nella scena friulana che in questo periodo ruota attorno al "Whisky a Go Go" dove ha occasione di dividere il palco e confrontarsi con le altre band locali e con alcune band di spicco della scena punk rock europea e americana.
Il quartetto propone 1 show energico, potente e melodico ispirato a gruppi come Ramones, Nofx, Rancid, Anti flag e Propaghandi ma caratterizzato da un sound originale e da testi che raccontano (a volte anche in modo ironico) storie di vita, problemi ambientali e i controsensi di questa società un po' perbenista e un po' malata.

Muttleys are an italian punk-hardcore band.It was constituted in 2003 by Mark, Denny and Ciba. The band name comes from the character of Hanna and Barbera “Muttley”, helper of the awful “Dick Dastardly” in Waky races and famous because of his laugh and his protest grunts. Pretty soon Esban, the Venezuelan drummer, joins the band followed by the bassist Enrico. In the mean time Ciba get away because of personal problems. The band is completed and manages to get famous in Friuli very soon! The “Whisky a Go Go” becomes the centre of their shows. There, they get to know and challenge other local bands and some important bands of the European and American punk-rock scene. The show ends up to be energic, powerful and melodic. The band is inspired by bands like Ramones, Nofx, Rancid, Anti flag and Propaghandi, but gives an original sound to its songs and write texts about life stories (sometimes ironical), environment problems and nonsenses of our society.
