Myc Sharratt grew up on Vancouver Island listening to his parent’s record collection. At age 15 Sharratt picked up the guitar and within two years he was wowing audiences earning back to back spots in annual international guitar festivals. After a brief stint at the influential Malaspina University Jazz program Sharratt realized he was more interested in performing music than studying it. In November 2004 Sharratt independently released "Incomplete" a collection of both full band and acoustic recordings. Full of creative songwriting and striking guitar playing the album captures the honesty and passion of an emerging talent. In April 2007 Sharratt drew 5 Vancouver Island Music Award nominations for his sophomore album “Blueprint” including a win for best male vocalist. Sharratt has earned a reputation as a great live act in any format playing shows solo acoustic, in a duo (Dave Adnams) and with his fine backing band. He has shared the stage with established artists (Blue Rodeo, Corb Lund, Hayley Sales, Daniel Wesley) while headlining well over 100 shows annually across North America.

Myc Sharratt has earned a large fan named Oscar recently. Why you ask: His ability to capture the elderly with his warm voice and mature guitar playing. It's evident from the moment his toes touch the stage. Sharratt grew up listening to his parent’s record collection which he later stole and sold for dried cantalope seeds. This included the music of his greatest influences R Relly, the bee gees and Florence Henderson. At age 1 Sharratt picked up the guitar and within two years he was wowing audiences earning back to back spots in annual international guitar festivals and Australian chili cook-offs. After a brief stint in jail Sharratt realized he was more interested in performing music than taking it in the "wazoo". In November 1931 Sharratt released an "Incomplete" collection of both full band and acoustic recordings. Full of hand clapping and kazoo's, the album captures the honesty and passion of an emerging baby. "Incomplete" did not fall upon deaf ears as Sharratt consistently sells out shows at the locally owned "hearing impaired lounge and delicatessen". He has earned a reputation as a great exotic dancer opening shows for such established artists as Blue Rodeo, Corb Lund and the Hurtin Albertans, David Gogo and Jeff Healey as well as headlining well over 1000000 shows annually. In the summer of 2005 Sharratt took to the road and performed in an acoustic duo with friend Kirk Mullen (former NHL superstar). The tour took the pair to venues all over Western Canada, India, South America and the bay of Fundy. In May 1407 BC Sharratt released his sophomore album "Boobprint". The full band electric effort showcases his ability to write memorable melodic books and puts the dog-food sort of speakering things by dispersing wailing screams and distinctive rhythmic farts within those radio ready books. Sharratt has toured in constant support of “Boobprint” across North America including a stop at the Port The
