Dopo diverse esperienze in gruppi musicali come chitarrista e cantante, EraSer quasi per caso scopre fortunatamente 3 anni fa attraverso il web il meraviglioso circuit bending e nasce la voglia di modificare per la prima volta un Grillo Parlante. Dopo aver modificato la maggior parte dei più famosi giocattoli e strumenti musicali ,ora è sempre alla ricerca dell’oggetto più particolare da modificare . La sua musica elettronica sperimentale è fatta di contrasti e fusioni: sonorità elettroniche glitch e lo-fi, create sulla base di intense linee melodiche. Nella sua musica cerca di cancellare ogni sonorità standard e ricreare o ricercare un nuovo suono. E’ il fondatore del primo sito italiano interamente dedicato al circuit bending.

Nel 2008 fonda con Raffaele Stellacci i "Twisted Transistors", progetto elettronico sperimentale nato con l'intento di esplorare tutte le possibili amalgame che si possono ottenere da un intenso lavorìo dei suoni elettronici e sperimentali, quali quelli creati da giocattoli e strumenti circuit bent, e di suoni analogici di sintetizzatori.

Figura tra i musicisti selezionati per diventare "Testimoni" dell'opera artistica di Michelangelo Pisoletto "IL TERZO PARADISO", nell'ambito del progetto parallelo "MAMA/Free music style", nel quale sono chiamati ad interpretare con la propria musica lo spunto melodico, concettuale ed emotivo della teoria che sostiene l'opera di Pistoletto.(http://www.ecletticaweb.it/intramoenia/approfondimente-terzo.pdf)



Nell’aprile 2009 viene intervistato per il rogramma dell'emettitente televisiva musicale ALL MUSIC "Io sono qui" dove spiega il circuit bending e la passione che ad esso lo lega attraverso interventi, dimostrazioni, workshop e altro.


Attualmente collabora con il video artista e Vj Emanuele Ponzio(Ape5) ad un progetto ("Future sounds like past toys") di ricerca della audio visualizzazione della sperimentazione sonora ottenuta attraverso il "piegamento" (bent) di giocattoli in un estetica glitch, creando un dialogo analogico digitale (dianalog) tra audio e video, tra "past toys" e "new toys".

After several musical experiences as guitarist and singer, three years ago EraSer luckily finds out the wonderful world of circuit bending through the web . This tempts him to modify toys, firstly the “Grillo Parlante”. After modifying the most famous toys and musical instruments, he is always on the lookout for the most characteristic object to circuit bend. His music is made of contrasts and blendings: glitch and lo-fi electronic sounds created on intense toneful bases. In his music he tries to erase any standard sonority in order to recreate or search for new sounds. EraSer is the founder of the first italian website enterly dedicated to circuit bending.

He has performed at the following festivals:

Actually EraSer is collaborating with the video-artist and Vj Ape5 to an a/v project called "Future sounds like past toys", a project of research of the audio-visualization of the sound experimenting the video-artist and vj Ape5 (Emanuele Ponzio): the project goes back and begins with the experimentation of sound through the modification, errors, "bending" of toys, and focuses on their audio-visualization through glitch aesthethics, creating a digital analogical dialogue (dianalog) between video and audio, exactly between "past toys" and "new toys". The audio part of the project avails itself of the art of circuit bending performed by the artist EraSer using toys turned into musical instruments that interact, through micro-controllers and electr-acoustic analysis, with a video-synthesis hardware/software, and self-made controller by Ape5

EraSer/STATEMENT

I'm an Experimentalist and "circuit bender" musician dedicated to finding new sounds and experimental sounds in order to create electronic music using conventional electronic instruments(toys, synthesizers, drum machine and effects pedals) in a "not-conventional" way, turning them into generators of new strange and random sounds by the art of the circuit bending.All it's full of glitch and fusion of sounds and colours in my performance.Toys are not only for enjoy yourself... but also for playing music and create music atmosphere full of complete mystery.
