So I finally took the plunge and started this page. I don’t know why I didn’t start one sooner. Maybe it was that I didn’t think it would serve any real purpose. Maybe I thought that it would simply serve as some unhealthy extension of the ego. Maybe I was concerned that it might become a meaningless outlet, containing useless information that would be best kept to myself.
Then one day I got to thinking. I have spent well over half my life nurturing and cultivating my love for songwriting, singing and playing the guitar. What a shame it would be if all of that work just sat on a shelf or was left on a hard drive. Worse yet, what if it was simply forgotten. So I figured why not use this page as a medium to share all of that and more?
With all that said, I have been blown away with how many of you have taken the time to stop by and say hello. All the kind comments and positive vibes reaffirm the fact that I am very fortunate to have people of your caliber who enjoy the music I’ve been a part of through the years. I am going to do my best to read all the posts and messages and respond when I can. At this point the volume is not unmanageable, so I am still afforded the luxury of keeping this real (as opposed to having someone do it for me). Please forgive me if I can’t get back to everyone. It takes up a lot of time that I still need to utilize to create and evolve as a musician.
