All songs written by Michaela Anne, except "Me and Bobby McGee" written by Kris Kristopherson.
Growing up in a military family, Michaela Anne moved around a lot - all through the states and abroad. Always active musically - whether playing the piano, the violin, singing or playing the guitar - she picked up musical influences as diverse as the places she lived. On top of all these influences, Michaela Anne began writing songs at a young age (catch her by a piano and she'll be glad to play you the first song she wrote at age 6!). Making her way to Brooklyn she has found a city, and band, that are perfect outlets for her many influences and original musical stylings. The result is a rich blend of the down home folk and country of her family's midwestern roots, with the sophisticated worldly sounds of the city.

Some of my best memories of Italy have you in them, laughing until we can hardly breath! and SHOPPING downtown, and boys...dumb boys! Your songs are beautiful michaela. I'm so proud of you and all your accomplishments!
Well, I don't plan on getting married anytime soon...but when that day does come close again (almost happened last June), I would be honored to have you there to sing. That is, as long as you don't require a private jet and six figures!!j/k
MICHAELA!!! I just wanted to tell ya that I'm so proud of you! I remember back in junior high when you'd entertain us all with your lil song/dance numbers... It's so refreshing to see you following your dream! I know it's been forever, but if you're EVER back in the Pacific Northwest we should all get together for the sake of our secret sister alliance thing we had goin on! :) xxx
