BIG CHEESE MAGAZINE: Pulverizing all palpable forms of music into a melodic, seductive beat, My Passion are on the path to big things with a frighteningly dedicated nationwide fanbase, as well as being reknowned for frantic, energetic live shows. At once harmonius and full of punk vitriol, the effect is alike to sonic fuckery - leaving you with a pounding heart, a dry mouth and craving more, much more. It would be far too easy of course to compare this bright young band to the great such as AFI or an electrified Billy Talent, because quite simply, this band is something very unique and has to be seen to be believed."

HERTS + ESSEX MUSIC ZINE: "Like a British Blood Brothers, but perhaps angrier in places and certainly a lot more fashion conscious, guitars, drenched in feedback, zig-zag violently against a horror-show disco synthesizer backed by clattering, bone crunching drums. My Passion have the same energy as Test-Icicles' early demos, but much more polished, branching between metal and disco in the way that it was thought that only Test-Icicles could. Test-Icicles failed for being far too experimental for many people's delicate ears, but one thing they outlined was that pop music doesn't fit in a neat little box and My Passion are their bastard love child, with all the undesirable qualities bred out."

WORKING TITLE: "With far out hair that makes old ladies cross the street, growling guitars, synths reminiscent of your Super Nintendo on a bad day and the entire Boots supply of eyeliner, My Passion are five guys armed from the balls up with guitar, ,bass, synth and drum, playing trashy riffs that make you want to get your kit off and actually dance. It sounds like you're circular sawing your Gameboy, a blatant aural orgasm."

UNEARTHED TREASURES: "New romantic style hair and make up splash their once angelic faces to reveal a sinister alter-ego. Big riffs fly out of the guitars like bullets from an out of control machine gun, synthesiser loops and buzz around the background like a hornet on ecstasy while Laurence Rene's voice soothes and then spits acidic verses from the frontline."

UK MUSIC SEARCH: Sounding like a messy punch up between the Lostprophets, The Automatic and Duran Duran, wiry pop music with its roots in the eighties but its sights set firmly on the future. Their songs contain all the infectious hooks, snappy guitar lines and ice cool synth stabs you could ever wish for. My Passion make out like Franz Ferdinand on speed and locked in a room full of synthesisers and John Hughes films.
