Myriad Creatures became a band when the four of them threw their London lives into a van and several hours later arrived in Berlin. It was January 2007 and it was very cold.
Having conjured up a collection of raw, essential and harmony-heavy tunes, the Creatures wasted no time in unleashing their blistering live performances – seducing Berlin‘s sweaty youth and carving themselves a guitar-shaped niche amongst the city‘s Techno DJ‘s.
The Creatures..s reputation on the Berlin scene led to them hosting the now legendary 'The Last One Ever' parties in their studio space, featuring The Kooks, Mystery Jets, The Maccabees, Peaches and many others.
They were the faces of the Levis Unbuttoned campaign, headlined Popkomm 2008 and were the undisputed party band of Berlin Fashion Week 2009 - playing for Escada, Strenesse and Vogue.
After nearly a year in Berlin the band crashed their van and in doing so destroyed any plans of returning home to London. Happy to be stranded, the Creatures released their first single ‘The Hero’ on Jackalope Records and secured themselves a management and publishing deal in Berlin.
A fortuitous meeting with legendary producer and fellow Berliner, Gordon Raphael (The Strokes, Regina Spektor, Skin), led to them recording their hotly anticipated debut album together in an old GDR radio station.
The album was released in July 2009 and entered the iTunes Alternative Chart at 10. The video for next single 'Ships in the Night' is currently on rotation at MTV Germany.

Nach einer schöpferischen Pause in den Sommermonaten konspirieren wir wieder musikalisch an einem der wärmsten, orginalsten, urbansten und freundlichsten Orte unseres beschaulichen Städtchens, dem ZMF am Rosenthaler Platz. Grund dieses Treffens ist kein geringerer, als die nunmehr sechste Release unseres kleinen aber feinen Labels zu feiern. Diese steht ganz im Zeichen eines Musikers aus Leidenschaft, CHARLES TONE ! Vielen von Euch bekannt von unzähligen, denkwürdigen Festen in und um Berlin. Anfang Dezember`09 wird seine 4-Track-Ep in nahezu allen Downloadshops dieser Erde zur Verfügung stehen.
