The MYRKVIDS DRAUMAR band sprang from the sourse team named LETHARGIA in October – November 2001.
The foundation was laid in the industrial area of Donetsk region in Yenakiyeve, Ukraine.
The original cast included:
LECTER (Volodymyr Deyev) - drums
BRUTAL (Hennadiy Firsov) - guitar, vocal
GRIN (Andriy Griniov) - bass.
Primordially that was a thrash-metal formation.
But this stylistic situation cardinally changed in May 2002 when TROLL (Andriy Trush) joined the band & introduced into the music pagan- & black-metal influences with his recent material that had been already finished.
(Heretofore guys have been playing Metallica & Slayer covers basically but only a couple of own songs).
The début took place in 13 September 2002 in the fest that had good name for this date & for specificity of music that was being played – “Friday, 13th”, at Jdanovka.
Afterwards the team became the regular participant in a local scale fests.
In March 2003 the band changed its name into MYRKVIDS DRAUMAR.
In April 2003 Dmytro "DAEMON" Gavrilov took up the vocalist position.
In May 2003 the hatecrew participated in the “Screaming Abyss” fest 1 (Yenakiyeve).
In November – December 2003 the Alchevsk black-metal band SINAH made us an offer to record a demo in their rehearsal base.
As a result from the cooperation we got the "Мщеньем Дышит Лес" <”Forest Breathe the Vengeance”> demo-record.
The recording staff consisted of:
LECTER – drums, back vocals
TROLL – guitars,
TEAR (from SINAH) – session bass,
DARK (ЭСХАТОС, DATURA, ACEPHALA) – vocals.

In May 2004 the band participated in the rock-fest «Холодная гора» <”The Cold Mountain”> (Yenakiyeve).
Since April 2004 DARK became the permanent vocalist.
In September 2004 guitarist BRUTAL left the band.
At the same time the record «Лёд и Пламя» <”The Fire & The Flame”> was domiciliary made with the crew composed of:
LECTER - vocals, drum-machine
TROLL - guitars
GRIN - bass
The period from December 2004 to March 2005 was marked by participation in the “Screaming Abyss” fests (Yenakiyeve), “Blast” fest (Alchevsk) as well as at Kirovskoye & Pervomaisk (“Death Alive” fest).
At the beginning of March 2005 the band domiciliary recorded the «Аркона» <“Arcona”> composition.
Two songs was later put on the «Последнее Пристанище» <“The Last Asylum”> promo.
In April Sergiy “KOT” Kotenko (DEADLY SUNSET, bass-guitar) was invited to the team as the second guitarist.
In the aforesaid period the band’s technical level appreciably grew. Except of thrash-, black- & pagan- influences in the music the techno-death elements start to be discernible.
But unfortunately that was not long.
In September 2005 GRIN (bass) left the band for a variety of reasons, since he decided to cease musical occupations at all.
Sergiy “KOT” Kotenko also temporarily went out the crew by reasons that were not connected with music (but formally was remaining the band participant till the end of 2006).
The “Screaming Abyss” 26-12-2006 performance concluded this phase of the band’s development.
At the same time the new musical material works were started.
Hereat the “Hate by The Hate”, “Live in Nature, Die in Chains”, “Suffocated Europe”, "Земли, что гнев исторгают" <“Soils that is spouting the anger”> compositions were created. (Afterwards they would be the part of the "We are War" album).
In the end of May 2006 DARK left the band by unknown reasons. Maxim “HOLOCAUST” Sezenov (guitarist/vocalist of the hopeful then local black-metal act named SYNEDRION) took up the place behind the microphone stand. Sergiy “KOT” Kotenko temporarily became the band’s bass-guitarist.
Summer 2006. In our development certain stagnation was observed owing to LECTER & HOLOCAUST was directing all their efforts at the primitive true black-metal project SCREAMING FOREST. TROLL also was invited to SCREAMING FOREST as the bass-guitarist (June 2006 –April 2008).
In August 2006 the band took part in one of the last “Screaming Abyss” fests.
During the period from August 2006 to April 2007 the team was preparing for the recording in professional studio.
In November 2006 HOLOCAUST had début in the capacity of the Alchevsk death-core formation ACEPHALA vocalist.
Unfortunaly the band (basically LECTER & HOLOCAUST) refused to execute prior material, as well as the records of compositions of 2004 – 2006 years period.
The studio album “We Are War” that was recorded at “Beasts Studio” (Horlivka) at the three stages (by the financial circumstances e.t.c.) includes those compositions:
May 2007 – “Hate by The Hate”, “Live in Nature, Die in Chains”, “Земли, что гнев исторгают” <“Soils that is spouting the anger”>
June 2007 – “Suffocated Europe” & “Another Day – Another Death”
February 2008 – “Scars of War” & «Искусство Опустошения» <”The Art Of Devastation”>
The album was published by the “Vacula Productions” label in October 2008.
From December 2007 to January 2009 SANCHEZ (the organizer & ideological inspirer of social-grind project DISTORTED who is also the bass-guitarist at SCREAMING FOREST from September 2008) was the sessional bass-guitarist.
In spring 2008 LECTER became the vocalist of the cult Alchevsk death-metal band ECLIPSE.
In 2008 the hatecrew appeared in Kharkiv (02.02.2008 the “Old School Frost” fest), in Zaporizhzhia & Dnipropetrovsk (22-23.11. 2008 the “Chaos” fest).
The incessant cast changes is haunting the band over the whole of biography. In the beginning of March 2009 by the musical discrepancies reason HOLOCAUST that decided to focus his creative potential upon the promotion of his own group SCREAMING FOREST went out the team. But didn’t forget about ACEPHALA.
But fortunately searching for substitution for HOLOCAUST & SANCHEZ didn’t take a lot of time. The new people who understand MYRKVIDS DRAUMAR creativities very well was found fairly rapidly.
Oleg “ADITON” Kuzminskiy became the session vocalist & the second guitarist.
Vitaliy “GARM” Rudnev took up the place of bass-guitarist.
In october 2009 was recorded new studio album.
