.......... Myself My Enemy was formed by founding members Andrew Gries, John Viebahn, and Mark Rivello in November 2005. With the addition of rhythm guitarist Derek Parker in the summer of 2006 and bassist Conor Hesse in June of 2007, the band has developed a defining sound as well as notoriety all over the tri-state area. Although each member has distinctive personalities and tastes, they all complement each other musically and have formed for the love of music. In the Summer of 2007, Myself My Enemy signed with Broken Hope Productions, their current label, which has assisted the band in the releasing of their first self-titled EP as well as their more recent EP, “Anamneses”. Since then, the band has written newer material that they feel more accurately showcases their capabilities..... In just the last year alone, Myself My Enemy has more than tripled the amount of shows they’ve played, playing with notable acts such as Darkest Hour, August Burns Red, Whitechapel, Misery Signals, The Red Chord, Emmure, A Life Once Lost, and many more. This is especially outstanding due to the fact that everyone in the band is still a teenager. It is Myself My Enemy’s goal to write the heaviest music around while also maintaining a tight sound that displays their musicianship. Myself My Enemy plans to work harder than ever to get their name out in 2009.
