To quote Bono, "You do the show, you do the business. I guess that's why they call it 'Show Business' ". And, in show business, it's both the "show" and the "business" that make a successful event. As a U2 tribute band, it's not only the message and power of U2's music that a Mysterious Ways show conveys, but the intimacy and interactiveness that comes from a U2 show - the key word here is "show". Mysterious Ways puts on a show - a concert - that leaves the crowds they have played to begging for more - and coming back for more. Mysterious Ways are four veteran musicians who understand that happy fans who stay and have an awesome time at a Mysterious Ways show will come back for more. And that is the "business" that Mysterious Ways is in.
Mysterious Ways' "Bono", Patrick, is a Bono-look-a-like/sound-a-like (albeit a little taller) and regularly goes out into the crowd and gets people singing, letting others become a part of the show as well. MW's "The Edge", Buffalo Speedway, has The Edge's tones and style down to a T - and he sports "The Edge's" wooly cap. MW's "Adam Clayton" (bassist) and "Larry Mullen, Jr." (drummer), Stephen O'Brien and Brian Delauri respectively, have connected to bring the foundation of U2's sound to the forefront. With the addition of our own lighting, sequences and video graphics, plus over 50 U2 songs to choose our sets from, Mysterious Ways' U2 Tribute shows are not only worthy of Texas, but shows U2 would be proud of.
