Mytho were formed in the summer of 2007 from an idea of the guitarists Enzo Ferlazzo and Antonio Machera. They decide to use synth guitars as the distinctive feature of the band. Then Fabrizio Machera (drums) and Marco Machera (bass/vocals) joined the band. The band starts composing new material and in January 2008 the first omonimous EP is recorded with 3 songs: Alpha centauri, Night Eyes and No shadows in the sun. The Ep is reviewed in the major webzines and magazines with enthusiastic reviews; this brought the record company Musea records (Camel, Steve Hackett, Rick Wackeman) to contact the band to distribute the EP. The band keeps on writing new songs, playing also some acoustic and electric show across Italy. In July 2009 the band enters the studio to record the first full length album that will also feature John Payne, the singer from GPS and ASIA. The members of the band had collaborations with artists like Paul Gilbert (Mr Big), Adrian Belew (Frank Zappa, King Crimson), Jerry Marotta (Peter Gabriel), Paul Dianno (Iron Maiden), Labyrinth and Korpiklaani.

This tune is based in a "Ricercare" composed by
Vincenzo Galilei (1520-1591), father of the famous Galileo. Astronomusic already performed several concerts for the International Year of Astronomy (IYA 2009).
