type amber	May 23 2008 6:12 PM Nate and Infantry, You sent the word out on my birthday, and honestly, I'm glad I haven't checked my email in a couple of days. It hurts. Your music has been a wonderful presence in my life over the last four plus years. Something beautiful is dying, but perhaps it will lead to the birth of something even better for all of you. Raleigh has changed so much lately, and not for the better in terms of music. Especially since the loss of some of the better live music venues. I'm in Boston until August and wish so much that I could be there this weekend. Luther will probably be there later, as his ten year high school reunion is that weekend and he'll be in town from D.C. It is a very strange thing, watching all these people and some of your loyal fans grow up and changing over the last several years. Your shows have always been a meeting point for so many people. Hope to see you all out and about in Raleigh in the semi-near future. Thanks for the inspiration and friendship.
