About Nava Young

I grew up in a large loving family of surfers on the far north coast of NSW. I started playing guitar at the age of 13 when stitches kept me out of the water for a few weeks and I haven't stopped since. I spend all my time making music and surfing. I love playing with other people but I'm just as happy having a strum by myself. I'm happiest when I'm playing music or surfing.

J.G Johnson & The Seeds of Peace	Mar 11 2010 4:43 AM It appears this message is mistaken for self pitty, though it is far from the truth. I only share the story to make aware the price of a DUI. I know what I did was wrong, I broke the law! I have to pay for my mistake and I'm alright with it. I made a very bad decision to get behind the wheel after having had a few drinks. I was pulled over and it quickly escalated in to not only a drunk driving charge but also an assault and a resisting arrest. I have never had a drunk driving before, nobody was hurt, and there was no accident. As a result I have lost my license which has had an effect in not being able to provide for my family, as driving is essential in my line of work. I have to pay a large fine. I'll have to go to jail and buy special insurance to get my license back. Also I will have to go to alcohol awareness classes that cost almost $700.00. Altogether it will cost thousands that I dont have. My family will pay for my bad choice. I wrote this new song "The drunk driver song" to help make people aware of the price you will have to pay for drinking and driving. I was not a criminal, nor a bad person, but because my stupidity I am now both. Please do not drink and drive! If you can please take just a few minutes and give the song a listen I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you. JG JOHNSON
