Neal Smith Rocks is the Official Myspace Page of Neal Smith, original drummer and founding member of the band Alice Cooper (along with bassist Dennis Dunaway, guitarists Michael Bruce and Glen Buxton, and lead singer Vince Furnier – aka Alice Cooper) from 1968 to 1974. Neal played drums on all of the classic Alice Cooper albums including Pretties For You,Easy Action,Love It To Death,Killer,School’s Out,Billion Dollar Babies and Muscle of Love. Neal also appears in the classic Alice Cooper group concert film Good To See You Again, Alice Cooper.
From 1997 to 2006 Neal played drums in the hard rock trio, Bouchard, Dunaway & Smith, also featuring his former Alice Cooper rhythm section partner, the amazing Dennis Dunaway on bass and Joe Bouchard of Blue Oyster Cult on Guitar and lead vocals. BDS performed a selection of original tunes as well as all the immortal Alice Cooper hits and songs from Blue Oyster Cult’s classic catalog. BDS have released two CDS: Back From Hell (2002) and Live In Paris (2003) which are both still in print (see buying information below).
In December of 2006, Neal reunited with his surviving original Alice Cooper band mates – Dennis, Alice and guitarist Michael Bruce – for a one-off charity performance at Alice Cooper’s annual Christmas Pudding show in Arizona.

What a neat pic Neal. After all of these years, right? Yes, when I was 10, I had the bands photos up on my bedroom wall. Billion Dollar Babies, was the first real record I owned(not kids records), my brother gave it to me. I was a fanatic, lol. Had even joined the fan club. Its a mind boggling concept to me, to know that you have blessed me with your friendship, and how the music thing has progressed for me. Never thought in my wildest dreams this sort of thing would happen to me. And you can safely say, that my first record I ever owned was Billion Dollar Babies. Have a great weekend Neal!!!
