About Hana:
 Hana started performing live in Montana at the age of 14 with just her acoustic guitar. In 2006, at age 16, one of Hana's performance DVDs reached Evanescence creator and writer Ben Moody. Over the next 18 months - as Hana shuttled between Billings West High School to finish her senior year and Los Angeles to write and record - Ben, Hana, and producer Michael "Fish" Herring crafted her first solo CD. Hana spent the last 7 months of 2008 touring the USA with bands Live, Collective Soul, Blues Traveler, Joshua Radin, Graham Colton, Jon McLaughlin, Ingram Hill, Corey Smith and a 4 song EP from the writing and recording sessions. Hana plans to release the full length CD in late 2009.

About the song "Need":
Hana wrote "Need", one of her first compositions, in 2004 at age 15. It was produced/co-written (the bridge) for her album by Ben Moody and Michael "Fish" Herring and recorded in Los Angeles last year. The string arrangements are by David Campbell, piano performance by David Hodges, engineered and mixed by Dan Certa, and mastered at Sterling Sound in NYC.

    Hey, ur song Need would have been perfect for New Moon and i was really hopeing they would have put ur song instead of the other boring ones lol...but ur still great i love ur song i remeber i would listen 2 Need and read the book at the same time hehe =]
    but hey there are still 2 books left soo you still have a chance,,,but anyways u are awsome and keep up the good work!

    I saw New Moon at midnight and kept thinking that the music wasn't that great and they really should have put Need in the movie. It would have fit soooo perfectly.

    Hey :)
    Im sorry that 'Need' didnt make it on the New Moon soundtrack. Those who have listened to it, absolutely LOVED it and wished for it to be on there, however, i say keep trying becuase you are an amazing artist.
    I really think you should try again for Eclipse...you have a good chance...i know you do :)
