i'm the singer and guitar player of ready the destroyer -- an original chicago based indie/rock/punk band.
i play gibson guitars in readythedestroyer and have a few of them right now. i love my 2003 ebony sg standard, my 2001 tobacco-burst les paul standard, my 2002 sg special (crescent moon inlays), and my 2008 melody maker re-issue. i play through my sovtek mig 100U tube amp. my cabinets of choice are my marshall 1960A 4x12, my mesa-boogie 2x12 recto cab, and my ampeg v412. i play through all of the cabinets at once ...
after a solo north noble (my ongoing recording project) performance in july 2005, a nice lady told me that i was the greatest guitarist in the world! she said she saw someone in the middle east that was billed as the greatest ... but that i was better! :-O
