Guilty Pleasure: Smallville | | Books | Been reading a lot of Camus lately (The Plague, The Fall, The Stranger), used to read Ayn Rand, Orwell, Huxley, Dickens, the classics (Ivanhoe, Grapes of Wrath, etc.). Just read Killer Angels again (Michael Shaara) because it kicks ass. Oh yeah, The Gods Themselves by Asimov was fun.

About me:
I am a passionate music-lover with no pseudo-altruistic purpose or nihilistic ambition. I live my life dynamically without the artificial trappings of society's veneer-like bondage. Music, film and novels - these things carry more value than the quasi-intellectuals would concur. Fuck them. My motto is to do whatever makes oneself happy so long as others aren't hurt; be yourself and tolerate (and learn to appreciate) the variety in this world.

Who I'd like to meet:
Unpretentious people who are oblivious to external forces. Someone who can compliment my weaknesses and admire my strengths. A person who will go backpacking with me for two weeks and then be content to rent movies for a couple weekends. Someone I can discuss various books and other literature. Someone who can (try to) appreciate my art and provide criticism as well. A person who will sit through the entire Godfather I & II in one evening and at least pretend to enjoy it! :) Someone with an eclectic taste in music; they will be open to listening to new things and passionate about introducing their favorite artists to me. Someone who'll stick around when things get rough and be able to ask for help when they're in a tight spot. Someone who will love me unconditionally. Someone who will laugh at me when I need it, because I am pretty damn weird sometimes.
