Taking their cue from 50's punkabilly, 60's garage punk and 70's punk rock, NERO BURNS have been carving their own particular niche for the last few years, a niche that exists somewhere in the twilight zone between garage punk and rockabilly. The band consists of Nero on guitar/vocals, Honey on bass, and Matic on drums; bonded by a common love of trash and twang, their noirish swampabilly rockers mingle with graveyard shuffles in a wall of shimmering tremolo as this trio unite in a rolling juggernaut of rhythm!

Nero Burns have played the gamut of notorious rock n roll dives big and small, from their surreal London debut in an oriental supermarket to the Dogzstar Club in Istanbul, and have shared stages with bands ranging from the Meteors and Nekromantix to Gallon Drunk and Heavy Trash. Formerly London–based, this Anglo-American outfit now divides its time between Slovenia and the UK, and have recently played gigs in Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Macedonia.

Their debut CD, ‘Flame On!’, was hailed as a ‘cracking little platter’ by Simon Nott in Big Cheese Magazine, Razorcake magazine said that Nero Burns are “souped-up, swampy and propulsive”, Trollzine called their ‘Zombie Queen’ ep “3 tracks of laid back cool n scuzzy fucked up rock n roll that drips evil in every note”, and long-running French fanzine Dig It! said “il a fumer nos haut-parleurs” (“it blew up our speakers”)!
