"Nevid" was formed in september 2004 by Aleksei "Lesiar" Agafonov after his departure from the band "Butterfly Temple". By november, the line-up was assembled and the band started working on it's debut album. Lesiar, as the main the inspirer and the poet of the band, planed to continue the theme, he started in "Butterfly Temple". The band signed it's first contract with IROND rec. (Russia) in the fall of 2005. On october of the same year, their debut album "Zov Novoi Giperborei" (Call Of The New Hyperborea) was recorded and printed. .... The lyrics of this record were inspired by the northern nature of the Kolskiy peninsula, by the beauty of it's mountains, lakes and the mysterious Seids, and in a tight symbiosis with the music of the LP, created a unique and distinct atmosphere. .... The album was acclaimed by fans of "Butterfly Temple", as well as by new fans of "Nevid". The band started active touring in Russia (Moscow, Murmansk, Volgograd, Tolyatti and etc.). "Nevid" also took part in "Vosmaya Nota" (Eighth Note) on Radio Russia. "Dar tebe moi" (My gift to you, a song from the album) was included in the "Russian Metal Ballads" compilation and the band took part in it's presentation in Tochka club (Moscow)..... In 2006 "Nevid" continued touring, as well as started working on the material for their next CD. "Yarga", their second album, came out via IROND rec. in january 2007. This time the atmosphere changed - it became more romantic, both lyrical and music-wise, more folk-inspired and with lot more female vocals. ....After the presentation of "Yarga" (with "Suidarka" (Germany) as the supporting act), the band held a promotional russian tour in cities like Samara, Tolyatti, Tver', Tula, Penza and Moscow. .... In the end of 2008 Lesiar decided to record an unordinary album under the moniker "Kramola" - "Krov Svobody" (The blood of freedom). Twenty tracks were unified by a single concept - conflict, insanity, the path to happiness and light through filth, pain, blood and tears. Besides "Nevid", other musicians were invited as guests on the record - Wolfenhirt (Svarga, Russia) - vocal, Bruno (Melancholy, Russia) - Cello, Minoss (Nasledie Vagantov, Russia) - woodwinds, Hurry (Svarga, Russia) - accordion. .... In 2009 the line-up changes - Glen (Bass) leaves the band due to personal issues. He is replaced by Belf (Stigmatic Chorus, Ashen Light, Russia). ....In december 2009 the renewed "Nevid" records it's 3-rd CD "Yantarnoe Serdce Arktidy" (The Abmer Heart Of Arctida). And again, by tradition, the album is completely different from the two others. The sound is more heavy, many different instruments are used, such as bagpipes, cellos and violins. The album is dedicated to the theme of human self-destruction. Lesiar: "Animal instincts and low moral are now main in the process of society-building, and soon it will lead itself to a global catastrophe and to self-destruction. The only salvation is a cardinal change in mass consciousness. But, sadly, that is utopia. That's one of the albums themes - human ignorance, greed and egoism, which will someday lead to catastrophe." .... "Nevid" is planning to make a new record in 2010, which will, as always, not sound as the band's other CD's. The only thing that will not change is the band's quality material and professionalism, which only grows with the years. .... From the very beginning, the main composer was and is Arsafes, a young and talented, but truly professional musician, who has his own unique style, that cannot be confused with anyone else's. .... Also the one and only drummer of "Nevid" is Alex Smirnov, who is able to perform in countless different styles, from soft and slow-flowing rhythms to blast-beats and death-metal brakes. .... And, of course, the leader of the band - Lesiar, the father of the pagan-metal scene in Russia. For almost 20 years he brings his unique and deep lyrics to his listeners.
