2) Each act gets 5mins on stage per slot purchase.
3) Each act receives 1hr free studio time just for signing up for the showcase (courtesy of Mix House Productions).
4) There is 1 prize, 1st place only. This is what the prize package is:
(a) DJ Envy Hosts mixtape.
(b) Write up in a publication. (There are several different publications involved, both paperback and online). {The write up is not limited to 1 publication, but it may only be in 1, do to timing and deadlines}.
(c) MP3 blast of 1 song out to 29,000 DJ's (courtesy of Digi Wax).
(d) Winner receives free mix and master service for 1 song (courtesy of Mix House Productions).
(e) Internet Radio interview.
(f) A slot in another showcase in Newark NJ
(g) 1 return slot in the next HEART OF THE CITY showcase. (Limited to only 1 and the following showcase).
5) $250 registration fee
(a) Upon registering each act will receive 30 tickets (valued at $15 a piece) as well as a stack of promotional flyers per paid slot.
(b) The 30 tickets belong to the registered acts and are to be use at the registered acts discretion.
(c) Tickets are designed to get support systems into the venue on behalf of the registered acts (by giving the tickets away to friends, family and/or fans); and/or a way for the registered acts to reco

Now I have an event coming up Sunday April 26th with Craig G & Lord Finesse headlining. The show will be at Southpaw located @125 5th ave(btwn St.Johns&Sterling). When the doors open the Mighty ZULU King bboys will be on stage & Dj Dp One will be on the wheels cutting it up. With opening acts like the legendary Reggie Reg, underground MC's like John Robinson not to mention some up and coming talent from the ZULU Nation this is going to be a great show and a grand event. I want to personally invite you out to join in this moment with us. Just remember its a Sunday show so the doors open early, make sure not to miss out on anything.
