I was at Recycled the other day and saw Crocodile, and of course, I bought it. After giving it a few listens, I must say that it's quite good.
We're currently trying to play around Denton, but we don't know too many places we could play. We've done a couple of coffee shops, but the bands that have followed us were always a bit softer. The majority of our songs are aggressive, even when soft, and we want to find places to play that we will fit in a bit more. Do you have any suggestions?
i had a dream this morning in which i was in a hospital and overheard someone saying they "left the show because new science projects is playing," so i asked where and ran into a large, carpeted room within the facilities. you were at the head, playing a banjo, and every time you jerked around i started to bleed. i didn't want to leave the room, so i just sat in the corner panicking until i woke up. oh, and this was weird- the only words you sang that i could understand were "you go aging through the night"
Just letting you know that going to one of your shows was one of the biggest musical influences ever for me. Such a unique style. I hope to see you again in the future!
Fantastic job, man. It had been a long time since I'd given Cohen a serious listen, so I brushed up on it before the show. Two of three of the songs you played were the ones I wanted to hear the most.
A testament to your scholarly taste and ocean of phlegm.
So, hey Dale, I Just found out about this whole Leonard Cohen birthday concert. Leonard Cohen has been my absolute favorite songwriter for years and I'm definitely going to be at the concert. But I know I would always regret not trying so I wanna know if there's any way I(Matt) could actually join in and play a song or two. I don't know how much pull you have at this event but if there's any way you could swing it it'd really mean a lot to me.
