Founded in 2006 by Uke Jackson, the NY Ukulele Ensemble is an all-ukulele band that is full of surprises. We play original novelty tunes, along with some songs you would never expect to hear on ukulele.
hey, I don't have a connection at my home. I moved into a new house and for some strange reason I can't get a phone line there. bureaucracy... so I'm rarely ever on the net. that's why I sometimes neglect my online friends. but I have discovered that living offline is a wonderful experience :D I have more time to experiment. I started studying philosophy now. I have improved my guitar playing and recorded some more songs. I enjoyed summer (I've been traveling a little. sleeping in the street and earning my life as a henna tatoo artist. now I'm planing to make a video for one of my songs, but I'm very slow in that. it's still only in my head. I don't do animations anymore. too much hard work.
How is everything there? I've seen you've sent me a link for some video, but I'm surfing from cafes where they have wireless so, I can't concentrate on anything but simply answering emails. thanks for keeping in touch. oh, and, I don't have a facebook. I never liked it. people tell me I don't exist.

"The Sweet Hollywaiians have probably the best feel for this 20's music of any string band working today. They manage the rare feat of sounding relaxed even when their playing is hot, are top notch musicians with tasteful arrangements and a full, rich, warm sound.Plus, they have a nice gamut of tunes, from King Nawahi to Giovanni Vicari to Bobby Leecan. See them live, if you can, for an unforgettable experience. If you can't, buy their Cds!" ~ Terry Zwigoff
