Contact Info: Premium Talent Agency info@nextbestthingband.com Sally and Tensel did not grow up playing instruments or singing everyday. Although they traveled thousands of miles and listened to more bluegrass than most people hear in a lifetime --- even BEFORE they were born. When they reached school age, their father became "Mr. Mom"; a display of his devotion to his marriage and children; and strong support of his wife's talents, as she embarked upon a solo music career. He taught the girls to play basketball & softball. Music was the furthest thing from their minds. Sally aspired to play in the WNBA. Tensel observed surgeries with family friend, Dr. Glenn Browning; hoping to study medicine. As with most teenagers, their life took a very unexpected turn after their high school graduation. Though they might have sang an occasional song with their mother; playing an instrument or performing was still far from their mind. On the other side of the map, in Johnson City, Tennessee, Karen McNees began taking interest in bluegrass music when she was in primary school. She was heavily influenced from the records of Flatt and Scruggs given to her by her father. Following in her father's footsteps, she began playing banjo. Karen was constantly jamming with her family and friends, as she was influenced by the talented musicians in the mountains of East Tennessee. It wasn't until the sisters transferred to East Tennessee State University, when their epiphany struck. They joined the ETSU bluegrass program, where they met banjoist Karen McNees. The program and their instructor, Dan Boner; nurtured their natural ability to sing and play; and they made the discovery that bluegrass was in their blood. Their friendship with Karen inspired jam sessions, as the girls found a common bond with college life and bluegrass music. The girls traveled to their annual Missouri festival; an event they have attended since birth, and invited Karen to join them. When an unexpected vacancy in the stage schedule left the Vincent's without a band, the girls were asked to perform. That impromptu performance at their grandparents festival in July 2007, solidified the certainty of the trio. They quickly named their group on the way to the stage; as the 6th generation of the musical Vincent Family; and was introduced as the Next Best Thing! -

Thanks for the add! Honestly I just discovered Blue Grass and Folk music and I have became a fan. I heard you play today at Silver Dollar City. It was an amazing show. Bluegrass has actually swayed my idea for seminaries to either Kentucky or North Carolina
Thanks for the add. Your music is great and You all have great harmony. God bless you as you go out playing and I pray God will keep you safe.
GREAT MUSIC!! Thanks for the add.
Thank you so much for your friendship.
Have a Great Cruise!!!
Hey, we caught your show in Berryville, Virginia back in November. You have a great band, and play some really good bluegrass! For that reason, you're on our top friends list. Keep up the excellent work.
