nice guys finish first is just one guy named russell! (that's me) im a seventeen year old down to earth straightedge (me being sxe is a personal choice) kid from long island (east meadow to be exact) i don't curse ever and i am always peaceful and happy (no joke, i am for real!) there is too much negativity in the world today and it's about time people were positive! :D as you can see... i love to make powerpop/techno/chiptune/happy music (yes that is ME singing and playing everything :P) its the kinda music that will make any bad day turn into a happy danceparty! i write all my own music and i play and sing all the music you see here! i have been doing this and have had this myspace since november 2005!
i never cheat my plays or mass add people... i actually hand pick everyone that i decide to add and tell about my music because i feel like they might like it
as for playcount cheating... THAT IS SO LAME! i like to know that the amount of plays i have is REAL... when i get a million plays, i want to know i earned them :D (please don't ever try to copy my player or cheat my plays!) THERE ARE WAY TOO MANY FAKE PEOPLE TRYING TO MAKE MUSIC! (i always keep it real because i actually care about my music and making people that listen to it happy!) i use autotune for techno effect, not because i can't sing. if you want to hear me sing without autotune then listen to "i wanted you to know" or check my live acoustic videos on youtube i have been in musicals, all county chorus, my high schools select chorus, regular chorus, and vocal jazz group, tri-m music honor society, and more. i am not just some kid screaming syllables into an microphone connected to an autotuner.
my debut fulll length cd is on iTunes and AmazonMP3 NOW!!!! i have been offered a few record deals, but not a single one worked for me yet i want to go to college and most labels wanted me to tour asap im really relaxed and stuff and i want to get an education so unless there is a label willing to accommodate my desire to go to college... i am going to remain unsigned (intrested labels please e-mail me) i am going to suny binghamton for business management this fall! tell me if your going with me or if you already go there anyways i love to bring joy and happiness to people thru my music! =D i dont make music for the fame or anything like that... thats the real reason and that's the important thing... right! mmhmm! i thought so!!! -russell
