About Nice Guys Finish First ☺ (call me @ 516-279-3454)
nice guys finish first is just one person named russell! (that's me) im a eighteen year old down to earth guy from long island (east meadow to be exact) i don't curse often (never in my music) and i am always peaceful and happy (no joke, i am for real!) there is too much negativity in the world today and it's about time people were positive! :D i am not a user of alcohol, cigarettes, or mind-altering substances. i don't care if they are legal or not, i just don't bother with them. i don't really like labels all that much so i don't really call myself straightedge. can't i just be russell :P as you can see... i love to make powerpop/techno/chiptune/happy music (yes that is ME singing and playing everything :P) its the kinda music that will make any bad day turn into a happy danceparty! i write all my own music and i play and sing all the music you see here! i have been doing this and have had this myspace since november 2005!
i never cheat my plays or mass add people... i actually hand pick everyone that i decide to add and tell about my music because i feel like they might like it
as for playcount cheating... THAT IS SO LAME! i like to know that the amount of plays i have is REAL... i have over a million and a half plays, and i'm glad to know that i earned them :D (please don't ever try to copy my player or cheat my plays!) on some of my songs i use autotune for techno effect, not because i can't sing. if you want to hear me sing without autotune then listen to "i wanted you to know" "equality" or "remain positive" or check my live acoustic videos on youtube i have been in musicals, all county chorus, my high schools select chorus, regular chorus, and vocal jazz group, tri-m music honor society, and more. just assuring you that i am not just some kid screaming syllables into an microphone connected to an autotuner.
my debut fulll length cd is on iTunes, AmazonMP3, Rhapsody, and ShockHound NOW!!!! i have been offered a few record deals, but not a single one worked for me yet i go to college and most labels wanted me to tour asap im really want to get an education first so unless there is a label willing to accommodate my desire to stay in college... i am going to remain unsigned (intrested labels please e-mail me) in case you were wondering... i go to suny binghamton for business management! anyways i love to bring joy and happiness to people thru my music! =D i dont make music for the fame or anything like that... thats the real reason and that's the important thing... right! mmhmm! i thought so!!! -russell
