Nick Garrie's debut The Nightmare of J.B. Stanislas was recorded for the French label DiscAZ by producer Eddie Vartan in 1969. The album was never properly released, but promotional copes have been treasured by record collectors over years and a CD was re-issued by Rev-Ola at the end of 2005. In 2006, Wah Wah re-issued the album on vinyl, and Nick travelled to New York City to play his first shows in the United States.
Nick Garrie's new album The Lost Songs Of Nick Garrie-Hamilton is out now on Rev-Ola records. It includes pre-Stanislas demos and songs with the Cat Stevens boys and Francis Lai.
