Ce spectacle est né de la rencontre improbable entre un banjoïste de 60 ans passionné par l'histoire de son instrument - au point d'en être le biographe reconnu - et un accordéoniste de 20 ans fondu de culture afro-américaine.
Avec un plaisir évident, Nicolas et Nicolas racontent des histoires de banjos sous fond de complaintes d'esclaves, de blues, de ragtime, de tango, de jazz, de boston, de folk et de chansons françaises.
Leur inévitable conflit générationnel sous-tend en permanence ce joyeux moment d'histoire musicale qui chatouille le silence et les mémoires !
This show is an odd meeting between a 60 years old banjo player - who wrote a referring book : AN HISTORY OF THE BANJO - and a 20 years old accordion player fond of African-American music. With an obvious pleasure, NICOLAS & NICOLAS (that's their real first name) relate stories of banjos and banjo pickers or strummers, singing and playing slaves' songs, blues, ragtime, tango, jazz, boston, folk and o lot af amazing French songs. NICOLAS & NICOLAS have toured with success in a lot of theatres and festivals in the South of France. The Press and the Public are enthusiastics over their show.

Des invités de marque, et un set de reprises monté spécialement pour l’occasion, s’appuyant sur une thématique chaque mois différente. Alors après le succès de la première Reggae Fever, consacrée au roots jamaïcain, ne ratez pas la seconde session, dédiée au reggae anglais !
