BRIEF BIOGRAPHY:
Nicole Zuraitis is a graduate (2007) from New York University, receiving her bachelor of music in vocal performance and has been pursuing an active, successful and diverse career ever since! She has been a voice instructor for the Litchfield Jazz Camp for 4 years, and debuted live on the Mainstage at the 2008 Litchfield Jazz Festival on August 2nd. Last year Nicole participated in the New York City National Association of Teachers of Singing Vocal Competition and won 1st place in NYC. She is a firm believer of fighing apathy, and has music directed and performed in musical benefits for BROADWAY CARES/EQUITY FIGHTS AIDS. An avid piano/vocal song writer, Nicole has began pursuing her songwriting career and is in the middle of collaborating with Tim Walsh on her EP. She recorded with the Zaccai Curtis Trio for her debut jazz album, "Nicole Zuraitis, Spread the Word", which released in summer 2008. She is the CTLIVE MUSIC ARTIST SPOTLIGHT Winner of August 2008. She is also a performer in the dell'Arte Opera Ensemble in New York City. In her spare time, Nicole sings with the Yale University Choir at Battell Church in New Haven and loves to laugh and exercise with her dogs.
