Music is magic, there is no doubt in my mind about that. Some of my favorite bands of all time are Mindless Self Indulgence, My Chemical Romance, Metallica (fuck EVERYTHING after the "Black Album", though), Muse, Dog Fashion Disco (and Polkadot Cadaver), mc chris, the Bloodhound Gang and of course, the musical aspect of the South Park creators': DVDA.
Movies
In The Mouth Of Madness, Pulp Fiction, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Fight Club, Terminator 2, Serenity, Evil Dead 2, Tropic Thunder, The Royal Tenenbaums (I loved this one for being the intellectual snob's comedy that it was)
Television
I don't watch a whole lot of TV, although I do watch some shows. All I'm interested in at the moment is Fringe, Lost and every so often, I watch some cartoons, like Adult Swim, Futurama, Family Guy and American Dad. I used to watch The Simpsons, but when you chew a piece of gum all your life, it's going to lose it's flavor. Seriously, that show is nearly as old as I am.

About me: My name is Nick Schultz, as the profile implies. I was born on December 10th, 1988 in the hospital nearest to where I currently live. I'm the third child in a series of fairly spaced apart children, and a mostly quiet and introspective guy. Not that everyone you asked would agree, because I have this habit of speaking my mind whenever the impulse comes to me and I've been told I'm rather blunt in my honesty.
I consider that to be towards my benefit. I hate bullshit, and cannot stand manipulative patterns of thought, or the people who experience/produce them. If I am quiet in a room, most often the reason for it is my discomfort with someone present.
I'm not a tough person to get along with. I have no real religious standing, but consider myself to be a fairly moral person, in all the important ways, at least (don't kill, respect your fellow man, all people are created equal, keep an open mind, etc. etc.) Many people describe me as weird and I will readily admit that my taste for the macabre and occult can be a little odd, considering my generally positive and upbeat personality. My humor tends to be dry, sarcastic and sometimes a bit abrasive.
I believe that anything written in these "about me" sections is complete bullshit and you can never truly trust what they're saying. I could describe myself as a Buddhist priest if I wanted to and most of the people who read it would believe it to be true. I just think that when you try to describe yourself, you're going to fail, invariably. Not many can accurately talk about themselves without throwing in bullshit or overstatements, or without focusing on factors of their own personas that are inconsequential towards who they actually are as a person. So, because of that, I had changed my about me to something simple and sweet.
But...
I decided I would like to glorify myself a bit and write a little bit more in here, if only to show off my personal style of writing and flex out a couple $5 words grabbed at random from my rather extensive (if 99.9% English) vocabulary goodie bag.
If it means anything to anyone, I'm a horror/fantasy pencil artist who wishes he was a horror/fantasy writer, but will settle for being good at one thing and sub-par at the other, since I know that maybe someday, after a lot of practice, I'll be writing books and drawing all the illustrations my readers could ever want. That's a ways off, but I'd like to think I have the potential to move in that direction.

WoaH! I read Gen's comment, and I believe that the only reason why you freaked out John is because he's a little girl who wears pigtails in his hair and likes to go shopping for berets with his mother! XD
