I can be found quite often at "Witchwood" the Strawbs discussion group where I have been a member for longer than some would wish.

I provide the famous badge

They already have homes in Canada USA Britain of course Poland Denmark Holland and New Zealand and more that I have forgotten.

You never know who you might bump in to when wearing one whether its at a Strawbs gig or downtown in New York. All Witchwood are a friendly bunch, full of wordly wisdom, so why don't you pop in to "Yahoo groups" and add your own profile.

It helps if you have an interest in music of Strawbs or something similar, but I'm sure we would give a friendly welcome to any one else if they want a little discussion.

MusicIt changes all the time, but somethings never do.

Movies

Not my specialist subject. I know they start with a beginning except when directors try to be clever and give you the ending first and then show you how they got there.

Most films do however usually finish with an ending. Though sometimes you have to work it out yourself because the ending is left for you to guess. (Sometimes there is a sequel being planned - (How exciting ! )

TelevisionNothing to say except I used to like Whispering Bob, before the show got taken over.
BooksWell booklet actually - the one which came with the Strawbs boxed set A Taste of Strawbs.

Stonehenge 2008 - Some early morning (very) Solstice words

Tonight the solstice does appear
With all of it's effervescent charms
Beckons bright like Jupiter
Or may be is it Mars?

There's rain in the air
A bitter wind
To quell the minds of souls
But some are long forgotten from so many years ago

But tonight the haven appears
It's known throughout the land
Tonight is the one for re-awakening
As the Druids speak with their infinitesimal charm

The midsummer sun will be setting
Along all distant shores
Whilst on the fields of England
We pay homage to our chores

The drum beat calls for
Another speckled day
The chanting full of eruptions
And frenetically frantic at the core

So here is to a new day
All nicely in down in rhyme
All good cheer to men and women
Now isn't that sublime?

© 2008 Badgeman

If I was a Druid
I’d be here tonight
Underneath the starry sky
Welcoming in the light

© 2009 Badgeman

I was of course !

Purr purr, lots of cuddles thank you. Our maid has an annoying habit of trying to sit on our sofa (!) and has no sense of urgency when it comes to feeding us (!!) but she does have some uses. xx

My, you've been busy since the last time I popped over!

Nice song on your player, and I like the little snippet of Rick's Hampton Court do although it's a bit sort of Hitchcock eerie, as though "the birds" (not The Byrds) might suddenly appear isn't it. Or maybe I'm just a little over-tired!

HOWEVER - BE WARNED! - Prolonged exposure to these aural delights may not only create a feeling of warmth and well-being within you, but may also, (perish the thought!) bring a smile to your face!

Allsorts...Roy Hill Friday....Paul Weller Saturday (with Phil Jupitus joining him for Town Called Malice as the third encore)....not forgetting 2 hours in a freezing cold hall with the windows open watching Georgia get her karate black belt on Saturday morning. It was her ambition to get it before she's 16 so she's a happy bunny.

Yawn, I need a rest after all that typing....

Ah yes, I'm here now and have spotted your magical update. Very nice it looks and puts me to shame.
I think I could do with a little revamp too (watch it!!)

Dunno if that will work, but it said "Add a photo!" so I thought I'd better do as I was told. This is where the real Elvis is, unfortunately.
