“It takes more than a lot of black face paint and a straight jacket to pull off what we do,” states Nick Fuoco, founder and front man of NIGHTMARE- The Alice Cooper Tribute. The idea was conceived over a decade ago in New York and has been a bicoastal endeavor for the last five years. Winning the Best Stage Performance Award in Hollywood’s Rock City News magazine four consecutive years has been quite an accomplishment and honor for the band. All the while proving that pushing the envelope (just like Alice) sure pays off in this era of cheap imitations.
After some well spent time fine-tuning the show, Fuoco finalized his line up with the suitable players to further enhance your live listening pleasure. He elected Swiss guitarist, Chris De Clercq on lead guitar, Scott Owen on rhythm, and the power house duo of Steve Gorenberg (bass) and Johnny G. (drums). With an extensive repertoire of classic and modern favorites for fans to sink their teeth into, Nightmare will take you on a journey one rocking track at a time. Whether you’re Eighteen or just a Billion Dollar Baby…. Welcome to the Nightmare you’ve been waiting for.”
“Performing the stage antics of Mr. Cooper is always my favorite part of the entire show,” claims Fuoco.” I don’t know what I prefer more, the rants and raves of our naughty nurse or the crack of our whip wielding dominatrix”. Of course there’s always some monster causing havoc onstage. Could it be time to feed my Frankenstein?
“Why wait for the electric chair to end me, perhaps a good old fashioned hanging might do the trick. C’mon folks!! It’s all in the name of Rock-n-Roll,” chuckles Nick. So check your pulse at the door and come witness Nightmare for yourself. Coming soon to a theatre near you!
