Previously known as Nightshade, the band was started out in 1996. The line up at that time was Shahrizam (vox), Syed Din (guitar), Mahadhir (guitar), Hiswandy (bass) & Hishamuddin (drums). The band produced debut demo in cassette format in 1998 entitled "Dead Rougayah" which was recorded live. In the same year, Nightshade shared stage with Negation, Cryptic Malediction, Tasyim, Larkhnat in Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia. After that, the band progress was temporarily halted due to band members pursuing job career and live quite far among themselves.
In 2006, the band planned to produce new material and for this time, only 2 founders still remain in the band and they had recruited the blood brothers Kamal & Ed (guitars) and Khairil (bass). Since then the band name changed to NIGHTSHADERS inline with the new breed and breath!
As we finished our recording process, we were handed the news that our vocalist (Shahrizam) and drummer (Hishamuddin) wanted to leave the band for an undisclosed reason. As financial constraints gripped us, it has forced us to delay our next release.
NIGHTSHADERS just released a professional demo cd entitled “Rougayah’s Revenge”(Our 2nd demo).
With 4 tracks full of revenge, we promise that you won’t regret to have it….it is good for your ear!!!Hahahahaha…!!!
