HISTORY
on friday, 22nd of june 2007 we decided to start a hardcore/punk-band. a day later we practiced the first time and wrote 3 songs. in the following weeks we practiced even more and wrote some more songs. unfortunately we got kicked out of two rehearsal-rooms.. and were in search of a new room, to write more songs and put together a nice setlist for playing live... thanks to our mates in caress we were able to use their room..
in february '08 we have finally found a new practice room, yeah!
february 23rd and 24th 2008 we recorded eighteen songs at house of music in winterbach.

then we played a couple of shows and did a short tour, which was pretty awesome. we also wrote new songs and recorded those on march 27th 2009 in our rehearsal room. 10 songs of these session will be released as our first 7'', again on spastic fantastic records and crapoulet records. due to arno's job and not having much time to play, markus switched on drums and felix (of regicide) took over bassguitar.

Die grandiose russisch-amerikanische SURF-, ROCK 'N ROLL-, COUNTRY-, POLKA -, 60s PUNK-Kapelle, werden den Keller zum Dampfen bringen und das ist versprochen. Ihr gemeinsamer Sinn für schwarzen Humor und ein unverschämt guter Groove-Sound zeichnet diese grandiose Band aus. Ausbrüche a la MOTÖRHEAD, gepaart mit Surf, russischen Momenten like GOGOL BORDELLO und dann Garage Stomper - einfach klasse - und dazu dann noch D.N.I. - also da kann gar nichts schiefgehen + dies wird ein Abend, den wir nie wieder vergessen - YEAH!
Snob Value is a filthy fat bastard from Wiesbaden consisting of five good lookin dudes. After listening to some myspace songs, I fall deeply in love with this shit. Raw, dirty and fast forward 80s hardcore punk with some nice catchy hooks. It's just like being back in the old days and listening to bands like CIRCLE JERKS or BLACK FLAG. Ok ok, this comparison is a bit exhaused by masses of third class hc bands, but trust me, this stuff is really rad! Limited to 111 poisongreen tapes in greeeeen cases! Cool?

Am 06.12.2008 wurde der erst 15-jährige Grieche Alexandros
Grigoropoulos bei einer Auseinandersetzung zwischen Autonomen und der
Polizei im Athener Stadtteil Exarcheias durch eine Polizeikugel
getötet. Sein Tod löste nicht nur in Griechenland, sondern europaweit
Proteste und Aktionen gegen Polizeigewalt aus. In Düsseldorf gingen
über 100 Menschen zu einem spontanen Gedenken auf die Straße. Anlässlich
des Jahrestages von Alexandros Tod rufen wir zur Teilnahme an der
Gedenkdemonstration gegen Polizeigewalt und staatliche Repression am 6.
Dezember um 15 Uhr ab Oberbilker Markt (Düsseldorf) auf.
Alexandros ist Opfer staatlicher Repressionen geworden, die sich
gegen alle Menschen richten, die sich mit den herrschenden
Verhältnissen nicht länger arrangieren können und wollen. Wer in
sozialen oder kapitalismuskritischen Bewegungen aktiv ist, muss über
kurz oder lang mit staatlichen Kontroll- und Überwachungsmaßnahmen
rechnen......
