NIRF

Bio:

2007
NIRF was formed by singer/guitarist Polo, bassist Yoichi and drummer Hiro.

In March, they recorded 1st album "Live at OASIS" with Tsutomu Okada. And in Sibuya K2, Nirf's first live was hold. They made huge buzz and left deep impression to underground rock fans.
Sorry for their fans but it turned out that was NIRF's last live in Japan.
After their performance, they decided to make a big step forward for their music career, play in Los Angeles to make bigger buzz from LA to all over the world.

2008
In March, NIRF drew an audience of over hundred in their first gig at legendary nightclub "whisky a go go."
The success at the Wiskey gave NIRF stronger foothold to do their music in USA.

The following month, a casting agent found them (on the street) and put them in the audition for Heineken Premium Light.
And supprisingly they passed the audition and participated in the shooting.

In May, NIRF recorded their 2nd album "Live at Electrical Audio" with Steve Albini at his studio "Electrical Audio" in Chicago.
In August 2008, they released the album on iTunes store

2009
drummer Hiro has left the band.

In summer, NIRF was on Japan tour in August. The tour name is ''JUMBO FRET''.

In October, their 3rd album ''SUNSHINE MAN'' out on iTunes store.

2010
In March, three new songs ''Ever After'', ''MIND EATER'' and ''Born and bred'' out on iTunes Store.

On August 21st, NIRF has stopped


2007年~
バンド結成。メンバーは、ボーカルギターのPolo、ベースのYoichi、ドラマーのHiroの3人。名を「Nirf」（二ルフ）とする

3月
エンジニアに岡田勉氏を迎え、ファーストアルバム「Live at Oasis」を発表。初ライブを渋谷 RUIDO K2で行う
その後、更なる高みを目指し渡米。活動の拠点をLAに移す

2008年~
伝説のライブハウス、Whisky A Go Goを拠点にライブ活動を再開

3月
とあるエージェントより、ハイネケンのCM撮影に誘われ、参加

5月
エンジニアにスティーヴ・アルビニ氏を迎え、セカンドアルバム「Live At Electrical Audio」をシカゴでレコーディング

8月
iTunes Storeにて、セカンドアルバムが世界同時発売

2009年~
ドラムのHiro脱退

夏
初の日本ツアー 「NIRF JAPAN TOUR 2009 ''ジャンボフレット''」を開催

10月
iTunes Storeにて、サードアルバム「SUNSHINE MAN」世界同時発売

2010年〜
3月、iTunes Storeにて「Ever After」「MIND EATER」「Born and bred」を発売

8月21日、両国SUNRIZEでのライブをもって活動休止
