MySpace Design 101

Everyone talks about customizing MySpace code, but not everyone knows where or how to start changing their profile codes. Nitro will take you from A to Z on the art of customizing MySpace Code and help you rid your profile of "Ordinary."

Here’s the first step: Where do you put layout and profile Codes?

  1. First open up your account. Then click the “Edit Profile” tab that sits beside your default profile pictures.
  2. You should now see your “About Me” section box. That box is where you will be inputting the codes.
  3. Then delete your OLD layout Code. If your account is new or unmodified, there will be no code to delete. Remember to hit the “Save all changes” at the top of the screen anytime you update or modify your profile code.

Change Your Background Pictures

Copy and paste the code below to change your background picture. To choose a specific picture, it must be available online. If and when it is, copy the URL and paste the URL into the brackets in the following section code: "background-image:url('www.enterURLhere.com/abc.jpg');

Note: If you’ve already applied the Nitro Profile generated code to your profile, to change the background you must paste the code at the end of your "About Me" box, but before the <⁄style>tag.

The background-position and background-color codes can also be customized to your preferences.

You can change the position of your background picture and/or tile it by changing the parts of the code outlined below:

To tile your picture, you must change the part of your code that says background-repeat: no-repeat;

To tile vertically and horizontally by change the code to background-repeat: repeat;
To tile vertically: background-repeat: repeat-y;
To tile horizontally: background-repeat: repeat-x;

To change where your background sits on the page, adjust the part of your code that says background-position: right;

To Center your background type: background-position: center;
To align your background to the Left type: background-position: left;
To align your background to the Right type: background-position: right;

Changing text size/color

This code can be broken down into three parts:

font face="tahoma" – This code determines the type of font in a particular section of your MySpace profile.

size="2" – This determines the “size” of the font

color="000000" – This determines the color of the font.

To use other colors (the “000000” part) just do a Google search for “HTML Color Codes” and you’ll get all the colors codes of the rainbow all at your disposal.

I went to the car show in tulsa saturday...it sucked i didnt see a single charger...there were 3 or 4 darts...a few superbees...other than that there wernt many Dodge's
