About me:

Having sold over 3 million records worldwide and taken up practically a virtual residency in the top 5 since it's release last September, Kings Of Leon's fourth album 'Only By The Night' is the album that has defied the doom and gloom of the music industry, the credit crunch and even pop's ever decreasing attention span to become the genuine musical success story of the 2000s. While some bands have barely got past their first album, on their fourth release thanks to a years of hard work, commitment and taking a few gambles - not least headlining Glastonbury when many doubted them - the Kings Of Leon have made more friends then ever with 'Only By The Night.' This magazine is for those new friends. Magazine includes exclusive interviews, the band's history, stunning photoshoots, a buyers guide, famous fan tributes and much more. Order now!

MISS HALLIWELL are a West Midlands based rock group who are at the cutting edge of modern music. After establishing themselves on the local music scene by supporting music legends “The Fall” at the Birmingham Barfly towards the end of 2007 the band have released two acclaimed EPs, performed with their trademark passion and variety at regular gigs and most recently have recorded their entire debut album “DIE SON! DIE!” live at two different shows. These performances were also filmed, as were the strange events that occurred before and after. The band is fronted by the animated, creative force Miles Perhower. Born and raised in the Black Country area, Miles combines his surreal, other worldly visions with sharp witted contemporary observations and then infuses these lyrical gems with the most foot-stompingly exciting rock and pop compositions you will hear today. Already compared to the likes of Captain Beefheart, The Fall, PiL, Radiohead and Pavement – Miss Halliwell are a must see and hear for anyone with a passion for originality in rock music.

Blacklightmorning have new songs up on the player - based in Loughborough (home of bells and broken hearts), BLM take all the best bits of noise, found sound, rough samplin and general dance naughtiness and wrap it in the guitar weight of MBV. How can we possibly fail?????? XX

No mention of the death of music journo Steven Wells then, not by anyone. Too young I suppose, too ignorant. Didn't like the guy much but I am surprised.
