noise was formed in early 2001 by brothers; Einar Vilberg & Stefan Vilberg.
In November 2003, noise released their debut album "Pretty Ugly".
One of the songs: "Paranoid Parasite" was a hit on the local radio stations as well as the video to the song.
- noise released their second album;"Wicked" in November 2006. Wicked signaled some significant changes for the band, being a subtle departure from the previous one, noise had created a sound that was both fiery and melodic. The writing & sound illustrating growth, maturity and intensity. The album got great reviews.
- noise have received fantastic reviews for their live shows, by journalists from magazines such as Rolling Stone and The Iceland Grapevine.
- noise have gone through some line up changes in past years but now Egill Örn Rafnsson (drums) & Arnar Grétarsson (guitar) have joined noise completed the line up.
- noise have now finished their third studio album "DIVIDED" which will be released in early 2010.
