Biography:
NO MORE were founded in the summer of 1979 by Andy Schwarz (vocals,
guitar, bass), Tina Sanudakura (synthesizers), Christian Darc (drums,
vocals) and Thomas Welz (bass, vocals) in Kiel, a town by the sea in
the northern part of Germany.
Thomas Welz left the band at the end of 1980 and the rest continued
as a trio up to the end of 1983 when Yvonne Pfeifer entered the band.
She was replaced by Thorsten Hartung in 1984.
After the release of the 10" mini-lp A ROSE IS A ROSE, NO MORE decided
to change their style into a mixture of dark wave with oriental elements.
NO MORE decided to go separate ways in 1986, shortly after finishing
their LP HYSTERIA.
At the end of 2006 Andy Schwarz & Tina Sanudakura released REMAKE/REMODEL -
a double CD that didn't only feature a variety of versions and remixes of SUICIDE COMMANDO
but also new songs and mash-ups.
Unconstrained by all scenes and genres, free of compulsions and expectations REMAKE/REMODEL
is the unauthorized biography of the band.
NO MORE deliberately return to no-fidelity, D.I.Y., and "I don't care
(about those who don't care about)" and one's again reminded of the early NME review in 1982
that decribed NO MORE as "a trio of young Germans who appear to have fallen out of LOU REED..s BERLIN album".
2008 - Now's the time for the next step - NO MORE (condensed in the duo Tina Sanudakura and Andy Schwarz)
are back on stage - with an exciting set of old and new songs.
From early (No)Wave to Dark/Gothic Underground, from EBM via Techno
to Electroclash - and back again!
In 1981, the german band NO MORE landet an underground hit with SUICIDE
COMMANDO, which in the following years spread internationally like a
virus regardless of genre and scene.
Whether in the New Yorker Limelight or in an indie disco in the Ruhrgebiet,
at the Love Parade in Berlin or on the soundtrack of the graffiti train writers movie "Dirty Handz":
SUICIDE COMMANDO was played everywhere and reached a status that made
the title interesting for prominent remixers.
Not in the least thanks to the interpretation by DJ Hell or Echopark, SUICIDE COMMANDO is as topical today as it
was 25 years ago.
"A song that refuses to die. A couple of years after these Germans recorded
this it spread like a virus to become a cult classic. The virus is still
spreading to this day."

In time for the anniversary of the title, the release of the REMAKE/REMODEL
double album describes equally the present and the past of the band
NO MORE.
CD 1 (REMAKE) contains new songs and mash-ups of early NO MORE
songs with new songs, an electrifying mixture of the original 80s productions
and current sounds.
The songs go back to the beginnings of the band and stand simultaneously
for a new start 20 years later.
This simultaneity of the songs finds its expression in the mash-ups.
CD 2 (REMODEL) concentrates almost exclusively on the hit SUICIDE
COMMANDO and with the best mixes and remixes demonstrates how the title
developed over the last years.
At the same time, the versions by stars of the scene, such as DJ HELL
and ECHOPARK, can be admired as well.
It's a CD-Extra and contains along with an audio part extensive video
material.

Dear No More, a new track is now available, "Marche solennelle". The subject talks about a ceremony of death, a celtic death... Listen and enter ... in the Sidh! Greetings from us, EmmA & Le Hibou
