Band MembersSTEVIE KEYS
Stevie's Bio: Stevie "Keys" Roseman is a veteran Bay Area keyboard player born in Oakland "Oaktown" California. Stevie is best known for his CD recordings with the rock band Journey. He can also be found on albums with guitarist Neal Schon, Tower Of Power horn player Mic Gillette, VTR, The Joy of Cooking and Oakland soul legend Frank Biner. He has toured or performed with the great Mickey Thomas from Jefferson Starship, Lydia Pense & Cold Blood, The Tower Of Power, The Tubes, Joy Of Cooking and many others. Stevie is delighted to have teamed up with his longtime friends John Hernandez and Ed Ulibarri to help create a vision of peace to our world through music.

EDDIE ULIBARRI
Ed's Bio: Ed is originally from Denver, Colorado where he started performing as a professional musician at the age of 15, just a little over 37 years ago, playing keyboards and singing in local rock bands. Ed and 5 of his friends nailed a recording contract with MCA records back in 1976 and moved to Hollywood to record the album at the Record Plant with producer Ron Nevison. The album was released under the band name of Alexis in 1977. Alexis, featuring Ed on lead vocals toured with some of the more popular bands of that era like Foreigner, Styx, Pablo Cruise, Pretty Things, UFO and Atlanta Rhythm Section. (You can see Alexis poster prominently used in the movie FM with Martin Mull) As a song writer Ed has written many songs in addition to writing much of the material on the Alexis project as well as a solo Christian LP he released in 1983 entitled Hold On. He also enjoys writing with his wife Ann of whom he has been married to for over 31 years. Playing live and touring was a highlight for Ed, however his passion is working in the recording studio. Ed has worked with Michael Pinder of the Moody Blues and Eddie Money among others as a studio musician, and has enjoyed being in the producers chair working with bands in Northern California over the years. As a musician, father, grandfather, husband and friend, Eds hope is that his music can help spread the good news of peace and the prospect of a better future for the many generations to come.

JOHN HERNANDEZ
John's Bio: John has been a professional musician since 1976 and was in the fore front of electronic music since 1977 both as a programmer and performer. Some of the artists he has worked with: Journey, Yes, Peter Gabriel and Abraxes. He was and is a pioneer in the application of electronic percussion. John has performed on two of Neal Schons solo albums. He also performed on a Grammy nominated album by Suzzane Ciani. Did a soundtrack demo with Angel Romero. Engineered, produced and performed on many other non high profile projects. Co-wrote, performed, engineered and produced music for two PBS documentaries titled San Diego Above It All. Has been involved in numerous hi tech drum clinics with many major artists since 1989. He has also done many keyboard MIDI, and recording clinics since 1993.
InfluencesNo Nation, a band from the Bay Area in Northern California has just released a Rock Opera entitled Illumine. No Nation members, Ed Ulibarri, John Hernandez and Stevie Roseman are honored to have some very special guests appear on the CD:
ROSS VALORY (JOURNEY),
STEF BURNS (HUEY LEWIS AND THE NEWS),
MICHAEL PINDER (THE MOODY BLUES),
JON ANDERSON (YES),
and JEFF TAMELIER (TOWER OF POWER).

As was quoted from The Journey Forums web-site:

Overall, "Illumine" is an inspiring piece of craftsmanship all around, with superior musicianship, uplifting lyrics and an ethereal sound that takes the listener on a trip back in time to when rock music was king and it was the music that mattered.

No Nation invites you to take less than an hour out of your life and sit in a quiet place, center yourself, and listen to Illumine from beginning to end. We would be honored if you take the journey with us.

   About No Nation

Our Rock Opera is presented to honor all religions that have helped humans, over the ages, in their search to know and experience the Supreme Deity. This musical is modeled on a biblical character named Machiventa Melchizedek.

Melchizedek is described in the Bible, the Dead Sea scrolls, and the Nag Hammadi as The High Priest of God Most High, the bringer of light, a being without beginning and without end. It is said of him that he did not have a human birth or a human death. His mission was to reveal the true nature of God and to ensure the continued spiritual evolution of the human race.

In that same spirit, our planet has been blessed by special humans over history who have contributed to our spiritual enlightenment such as Enoch, Ikhnaton, Moses, Buddha, Zoroaster, Jesus of Nazareth, and Muhammad, to name just a few. This opera is a prayer that current and future generations will actualize the truth that we are all family in Gods eyes and learn to treat each other with Love and live in peace.

The true nature of all matter, including humankind, is that we are all connected and the illusion of separateness is a distortion of reality. Spiritual evolution will hopefully lead us to understand that only our perceptions keep us from knowing the truth that Love and light unify everything, and heaven on earth is in the knowledge that we are one. The messenger in our rock opera comes to earth seven times, once every millennium, starting five thousand years ago.

Each song portrays one of the seven visits that represent a part of the ongoing saga of humanitys search for God and Gods attempt to reveal truth to all earths children. Peace be upon you, No Nation

When music is rock,love it.
And your voice.
Have a great weekend.
Peace
PURE PEACE

I saw your beautiful face,
and the light you have inside.
Burning with eternal flame.
I said to you
-The world seems right today.

You smiled, your eyes were open wide.
And you started to talk about GOD.
And the things you wanted to do so well.
I belived you,and in me it was peace again.
A state of Mind.
We took each other's hands, without holding them.
we felt,we were One in that minute of shared,
nearness.

The light of something bigger than us.
Surrounded of the wisdom of love.
We have got By let us understand each other.
